Overview

Welcome to CPRIT single cell genomic center (SCGC) at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. This CPRIT funded facility supports collaborative projects and core services for single cell sequencing technologies. The center is directed by Dr. Nicholas Navin (www.navinlab.com) and Tuan Tran and consists of four main components: 1. tissue dissocation facility, 2. technologies & assays, 3. next-generation sequencing and 4. data analysis. The tissue dissocation, technologies and data analysis are supported by SCGC, while the next-generation sequencing is performed at the Sequencing and Microarray (SMF) core facility and will be charged seperately. Another focus of SCG is on training and education activities, including weekly seminar series and summer workshops. The SCG is also involved in research activities, including the development of new technologies for single cell genomics. The SCG has two tracks available: (1) core services and (2) collaborative projects. The collaborative track involves long-term projects with the user group, while core services operates under single sample submissions. Please refer to the sub sections for more information.
